Strictly Come Dancing star Max George has revealed he has installed security cameras in the dance studio he rehearses in.

Former The Wanted star Max, 32, had the cameras put in place, which he likens to “a dog cam”, to put his girlfriend Stacey Giggs at ease, The Sun Online reports.

Max said he's been in constant contact with Stacey, 38, and the children she shares with ex husband Ryan Giggs, as they’ve been separated for two months as he competes in Strictly.

Max, who was branded a “k**bhead” by former bandmate Tom Parker recently, said: “It’s like a little TV screen, I’ve got a portal and it’s HD and it follows you around the room so wherever I walk it follows me.

“I turn that on so it’s like I’m there. Eyes on me.

“I’ve got security cameras. So it’s like a dog cam, so whenever me dog wakes up in the middle of the night I get little videos so I can see what he’s up to. We’ve got it all covered.

“Obviously it’s hard of course and we miss each other loads but it’s just going to make the reunion even nicer, the longer it goes on.”

It comes following reports that Max was given a warning by girlfriend Stacey amid false rumours he and his dance partner Dianne Buswell were romantically involved, which caused Strictly to ramp up security.

An insider recently told new! magazine: “Max is a terrible flirt and very cheeky.

“There is definite chemistry between him and Dianne, but she is a total professional.”

“Stacey apparently read Max the riot act before he went on the show and has now given him another warning, so he knows he can’t cross the line. Max is just a very lovable guy and women are drawn to him. He’s got that charm.”

The insider continued: “Stacey knew she was going to get all these rumours and that all eyes would be on Max.

“Doing this show is going to put pressure on any relationship and Stacey is aware of that. Max has assured her he’ll behave himself and that she’s got nothing to worry about and she believes him. He's besotted by her.”

But Max, who recently gushed over girlfriend Stacey, has insisted he knows nothing of the Strictly curse.

He said: “I didn’t even know what it was to be honest. It’s never been a concern.

“It’s just like shooting a music video or shooting a TV show. As much as it’s fun and obviously I’ve made a really good friend in Dianne, it’s work at the end of the day and a challenge. It’s nothing else than that. So, no, it’s never been a conversation.”
