Stacey Solomon confirms she hasn’t given birth yet as she explains social media absence

Stacey Solomon has taken to her Instagram stories to confirm that she hasn't yet given birth despite speculation from fans.

The star, who is an avid Instagram user, had a day away social media – sparking questions over whether she was in labour.

However, she has now posted a story confirming that she is still very much pregnant and instead, it was a house renovation issues which meant she didn't post to her stories on Thursday.

Sharing a photograph of herself sat with her dogs in bed, she wrote: "She's [The baby] still very much in, and as cosy as her fur brother and sister I think.

"Sorry I've been so quiet, we had a problem lifting up the floor downstairs so I was sent to my room all day. I'll show you.

"I haven't slept as much as I did yesterday since I was teenager. I think my body was saying get sleep now Stace or forever hold your peace. Happy Fri-yay hope you're all okay."

The 31 year old is due to have her first daughter any day now, and the baby will be her second child with fiancé Joe Swash and fourth child altogether.

In an update earlier this week Stacey admitted that she had thought her baby would "be here by now".

Stacey revealed back in June of this year that she was pregnant with her fourth child, and on the months since she has excitedly made an effort to document the pregnancy as she said it will be her last.

Stacey and her fiancé Joe already share two-year-old son Rex and she is also mum to older sons Zachary, 13, and Leighton, nine, from previous relationships, while Joe also has son Harry.

The Loose Women panellist revealed her Autumn door display on her social media on Wednesday.

She posted a photo with her three boys and Joe Swash posing in the doorway of her display.

Stacey is known for being brilliant at arts and crafts and demonstrated this by decorating with hay bales, pumpkins, leaves, gnomes and pampas grass.

She captioned the post: "Hello Autumn. The first autumn door at pickle cottage and the sunset tonight was everything. I don’t know how you got us all in and smiling (Thank you Dad) it’s going on the wall.

"This is a crazy harvesty, swingers grass, hay (superb hay might I add) bonanza but I love it. Even if Rex spent the whole day undoing our handywork. Happy Autumn everyone. I hope the new season brings with it all the happiness you deserve."
