Slipknot’s ‘We Are Not Your Kind’ Debuts At No. 1 On Billboard 200

Slipknot‘s new album, We Are Not Your Kind, debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart, giving the band its third No. 1 on the list.

Billboard reports We Are Not Your Kind earned 118,000 equivalent album units in the week ending August 15, of which 102,000 were in album sales.

We Are Not Your Kind was released on August 9 via Roadrunner Records, and is the group’s follow-up to 2014’s .5: The Gray Chapter.

We Are Not Your Kind is the first hard rock album to lead the 200 chart since Foo Fighters‘ Concrete and Gold, which debuted in the top spot with 127,000 units in October 2017.

Meanwhile, Slipknot kicked off their U.S. tour on July 26. The tour runs through October 11.

The Knotfest Roadshow North American tour also features Volbeat, Gojira and Behemoth.
