Shawn Mendes, Lizzo, Lil Nas X And More To Perform At MTV VMAs

MTV has added seven new acts to the lineup of its annual Video Music Awards ceremony.

The star-studded event will include live performances from Shawn Mendes, Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Camila Cabello, Bad Bunny, Rosalía and J Balvin, many of whom have been nominated in several categories.

Performing for the first time are Cabello, who bagged the Artist of the Year and Video of the Year (“Havana”) awards in 2018 and rapper-actress Lizzo.

Meanwhile, Mendes has been nominated in five categories, including Artist of the Year, and “Old Town Road” rapper Lil Nas X is up for awards in eight categories.

Previously announced performers include Taylor Swift and Video Vanguard Award recipient Missy Elliott.

The fan-voted awards are set to take place on Monday, August 26.
