After Victor Boyce mourned the death of the ‘Descendants’ actor on social media, the ‘Cruel Intentions’ actress reveals that the 20-year-old has been her son’s ‘first real role model.’

AceShowbiz -Actress Selma Blair has written an emotional message to late Disney star Cameron Boyce‘s father, revealing her son was a big fan of the young star.

The 20-year-old “Descendants” actor passed away on Saturday (July 06) after suffering a seizure in his sleep, and in the wake of the tragedy, his father Victor Boyce took to Instagram to express his grief.

“I miss him terribly. I hope that no one ever has to feel the agony I’m feeling but no one is immune to tragedy,” he wrote alongside a photo of his son. “The outpouring of love and support our family continues to receive is so beautiful and appreciated. Thank you all for helping us through our worst possible situation.”

The touching tribute caught the attention of Blair, who is undergoing treatment for multiple sclerosis (MS), and the “Cruel Intentions” star expressed her support for Victor and revealed her seven-year-old son, Arthur, was inspired by Boyce.

“He will not be forgotten at our home…,” Blair commented. “Arthur had his first real role model (in Cameron). He talked to everyone about him. And his family and his grandma and sister and everything we read last year. Arthur wanted to know as much as he could. Your son just had soulful and kind layers that were revealing more and more of what an amazing creation he is.”

She added: “I can’t touch your grief… I wish I could carry some. It would be an honor. A true honor.”

Blair previously addressed Cameron’s death on the photo sharing site after the sad news of his death first broke.

“I loved knowing such a soulful, talented young man was out there for my son to look up to,” she posted on Monday (July 07). “We are saddened to learn of his passing. And my heart hurts for his family and loved ones.”

Boyce also appeared in the “Grown Ups” films and “Dolphin Tale 2“.
