'RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars' Winner Monet X Change's Message to Anyone Attending 'Straight Pride'

The reality star certainly put it bluntly and we’d have it no other way.

Monet X Change says Straight Pride can sashay the hell away.

The "RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars 4" winner has joined the chorus of people speaking out against the proposed straight pride march in Boston, which organizer Mark Sahady said the city was "working" with him on setting up after he filed a discrimination complaint.

The event requested the "same accommodations given for the LGBTQ+ parade" when it comes to street closures and floats and aims to "celebrate the diverse history, culture, and contributions of the straight community."

Well, that got Monet all fired up.

"The gay pride march — it’s not a parade, it’s a march — we march because we were marching for our rights, marching for our freedom, marching for our liberties and straight pride is every f–king day," she said when cameras caught her in NYC this week. "You wake up on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, it is straight pride."

She stressed that the LGBT community’s festivities — many held throughout June in the United States — were "born out of a need to celebrate us because we were not being celebrated." The timing usually coincides with the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, a benchmark rebellion against police which occurred 50 years ago this month in New York.

As for anyone who may attend Boston’s counter-programming, her message was clear: "If you are thinking about attending the Straight Pride Parade, go f–k yourself."
