However, the ‘Seven Pounds’ actress admits in a new interview that she never has a relationship with women even though she considers herself as a bisexual.

AceShowbizRosario Dawson has finally come clear about her sexuality. Following speculation that she might be a member of the LGBT community, the 40-year-old actress has come out as bisexual in a candid interview with Bustle.

Speaking of the Instagram post that got people speculating about her sexuality, Rosario made it clear that she didn’t come out through the post. “People kept saying that I [came out]… I didn’t do that. I mean, it’s not inaccurate, but I never did come out come out,” she said during the interview. “I mean, I guess I am now.”

Despite being bisexual, Rosario admitted she never had a relationship with women. “I’ve never had a relationship in that space, so it’s never felt like an authentic calling to me,” the “Seven Pounds” star said.

Speculation about Rosario’s sexuality first arose during Pride Month in 2018, when she posted a video of a rapper singing her Pride anthem. “Happy pride month! Sending love to my fellow LGBTQ+ homies. Keep being strong in the face of adversity. Loud & proud,” she wrote along with the clip, making people believe she’s part of the community due to the word, “Fellow.”

Rosario is currently dating former Presidential candidate Cory Booker. The couple has been dating since October 2018 and confirmed their relationship in March in the following year. Talking about their romance in the Bustle interview, Rosario confessed that she feels like she has finally found her match.

“It’s the first time I felt like I had to be responsible about my choice of love, which is challenging to do,” she said. “If you fall in love, you fall in love. But there’s another aspect I had to consider: what this meant in [putting] a microscope on my family and particularly on my daughter.”
