Radiant Cat Deeley makes rare red carpet appearance with husband Patrick Kielty
05/07/2023Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty made a rare red carpet appearance alongside one another on Sunday as they headed to the 20th Irish Film and Television Academy Awards Ceremony in Dublin.
The TV presenter, 46, who recently shared an insight into family life, was glowing for the occasion as she stunned in a long-sleeved white gown, which featured a chest cut-out detail and thigh-grazing slit.
Adding a glimmering clutch bag to the look, the SM:TV live and CD:UK host, had her golden locks styled in a glamorous curl while opting for a glowing palette of makeup.
Wrapping an arm around the beauty was husband Patrick, 52, who looked suave for the occasion in a black suit with a matching bow tie.
The duo, who tied the knot back in 2012, appeared happier than ever as they grinned from ear-to-ear while hitting the award ceremony red carpet.
It was a night off for the long-term couple, who were flying solo without their two children; Milo, six, and four-year-old James.
Cat and Patrick public with their romance in May 2012 and just four months later it emerged they'd tied the knot, relocating back to the UK at the beginning of the pandemic after living in America for 15 years.
The couple tend to keep their romance under-the-radar, shielding their kids' faces from social media as they keep family life to themselves.
Last year, Cat divided her fans as she revealed that she was having having her eldest son Milo’s teeth made into a bracelet for her to wear.
In the wake of Milo losing his first baby tooth, Cat thought of the unique idea to have it made into a piece of jewellery as she didn’t know what to do with it.
“I’m having a bracelet made at the moment. Now stick with me here – it’s slightly macabre and a bit weird,” she explained on The Sheerluxe Show podcast.
“My eldest child Milo has just started losing his teeth. He’s lost one so far. The tooth fairy came. But she had very little small change and had to give notes.
“So I am like, ‘What am I going to do with this tooth? I’m going to get him to dip the teeth in gold and attach them one by one to my bracelet.”
“They will dangle and it’ll look nuts,” Cat added.
As well as teeth, Cat revealed that her bracelet would also be made up of skin.
“I’m having a bangle made with their skin on it, and I’m going to get him to dip the baby teeth in gold and then attach them one by one to my bracelet,” the former Stars In Their Eyes presenter said.
“I do have to write to the tooth fairy asking for the tooth back,” Cat further quipped.
