Queen’s ‘Greatest Hits’ Tops Billboard’s Catalog Albums Chart For 55th Week

Queen‘s Greatest Hits has spent 55 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Catalog Albums chart.

Only one album has spent more time at No. 1 on the Catalog Albums chart, Bob Marley & The WailersLegend, which has topped the chart for 126 weeks.

Queen’s Greatest Hit album was released in the U.K. in October 1981. The album reached No. 1 on the Catalog Albums chart on June 2, 2018, five months before the release of the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.

The best-of collection features classic tracks like “We Will Rock You,” “Another One Bites The Dust” and “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

Top Pop Catalog Albums is a 50-position weekly albums chart produced by Billboard which ranks the best-selling catalog albums in the U.S., regardless of genre.

The magazine defines a catalog title as one that is more than 18 months old and that has fallen below position 100 on the Billboard 200.
