Princess Eugenie debuts subtle new tattoo during Platinum Jubilee celebrations

06/03/2022

Princess Eugenie unveiled her new tattoo at the latest Platinum Jubilee celebrations today, Friday 3 June.

The 32 year old Royal appeared at the Queen's Thanksgiving Service at St Paul's Cathedral with her husband Jack Brooksbank in tow, and she looked utterly radiant amongst the rest of her family members.

And as cameras were snapping away at the brightly coloured outfits and smart suits, and all eyes were trained on where the Royals were sitting in the cathedral, Eugenie subtly put her inking on display.

The princess pinned back her brunette locks in a stylish curly look to reveal the tattoo, which was permanently inked behind her left ear.

The pattern itself only showed a simple black circle with no writing, so Royal fans have to wonder that Eugenie chose a particularly personal design that only means something to her or her close family.

The Royal, who shares son August with her husband, was all smiles as she arrived at the special event with her sister Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Wearing a bold colour-block midi dress in tangerine orange, Eugenie paired her look with a black floral-design beret-style hat.

She then accessorised the ensemble with a matching bag and heels.

The mum-of-one's makeup was also fresh and summery for the warm June day, as she shared lots of giggles with her cousins.

It was also Eugenie's first reunion with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, whom she was last thought to have seen over in California when she stayed with them earlier this year.

At the time, the princess avoided making any announcement about her family's low-key trip, but she was pictured attending the Super Bowl baseball game with the Duke of Sussex, 37.

The Duchess of Sussex, 40, and Jack were presumed to have stayed at home with the children.

Eugenie and Jack decided to stay at home to celebrate Trooping the Colour yesterday, while the rest of the family enjoyed the celebrations at Buckingham Palace.

Meanwhile, royal watchers were left utterly glued to the grand and highly-anticipated return of the Duke and Duchess during today's service.

Meghan wore a white trench coat outfit that featured a statement collar, and paired it with a matching hat and shoes.

Prince Harry opted to wear his military medals and the couple arrived with fanfare as the crowd outside the cathedral cheered at the sight of their reunion with the Royal family, as they now live in Montecito with their children Archie and Lilibet.

The Duke and Duchess now live in Montecito with their children Archie, three, and Lilibet, who celebrates her first birthday on Saturday 3 June, when it is expected the Royals will have a family party for her.

The visit has also been the first time the Queen, who pulled out of the Epsom Derby this weekend, and other members of the Royals, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, have had the opportunity to meet Lili.
