Prince William Thinks Prince Harry "Twisted the Truth" and Is Taking a "Cheap Shot"

Things are still, erm, tense between Prince William and Prince Harry in the wake of Harry opening up about the royals to Oprah Winfrey, and now William feels ~uncomfortable~ talking to his brother.

Apparently, William isn’t thrilled that Gayle King mentioned their conversations hadn’t been “productive” on CBS, and seems to think Harry betrayed his trust.

As a reminder, Gayle told CBS This Morning, “The word I was given was that those conversations were not productive. But they are glad that they have at least started a conversation. And I think what is still upsetting to them is the palace keeps saying they want to work it out privately, but yet they believe these false stories are coming out that are very disparaging against Meghan, still.”

It’s unclear how the brothers will be able to mend fences if they aren’t speaking, but Us Weekly’s source also said “The problem with Harry is that he’s hooked on being right and regardless of saying he wants to move on from this, he won’t back down until he gets some form of apology from his family.”

I mean, seems fair that he wants an apology! But it’s unlikely that anything will be said publicly. The Queen reportedly wants to keep fallout from Harry and Meghan’s interview strictly private, despite Prince William itching to address the Sussexes’ claims. Either way, the brothers are expected to see each other in person for the first time this summer when Princess Diana’s statue is unveiled at Kensington Palace.
