A pregnant Ashley James stepped out on Wednesday to discuss the Online Safety Bill in Parliament while sporting a figure-hugging dress.

Former Made in Chelsea star Ashley, who featured on the reality TV show from 2012 to 2013 with stars like Alexandra ‘Binky’ Felstead and Ollie Locke, attended the political talks and was pictured carrying a small coffee from Cafe Nero.

The DJ and blogger sported a knitted brown dress from Pretty Lavish that hugged her blossoming baby bump, which she paired with a camel coat and gold jewellery.

Ashley, 35, finished the look with chunky brown boots from Warehouse and a simple black bag while keeping her makeup fresh and simple with a little colour on her eyes and lips.

Sharing a picture on Instagram, Ashley wrote: "Today I was invited to parliament to sit with a minister about something I feel passionate about that will hopefully make the world better for all of us, but most importantly for our children.

"Our sons and daughters. I'm not allowed to tell you about it yet, but hopefully when I can I can share some videos."

Ashley has been vocal about being trolled by people online who reported her to social services, which she detailed in an opinion piece for inews.

She wrote: “At what point do we accept online trolling as “free speech” and at what point does it become harassment? Part of the Online Safety Bill’s goal is to make the internet safe, and with that what responsibility and duty of care measures should websites have in place to protect people?

“Because if they are happy to target me during my pregnancy, who else will they target? And how long until these online actions have very real-world consequences on their victims?”

Ashley, who is already mum to son Alfie with Tom Andrews, announced that she was expecting last September in an Instagram reel entitled: "I have some news."

In the video, which showed a positive pregnancy test, sonogram footage from a scan and a scan picture, she said: "We have some news….!

"I'm excited and nervous to share in equal measure… Baby number 2 coming in 2023.

"This audio makes me cry every single time!

"A little update will be coming on my podcast which will be relaunched tomorrow.”

She later revealed the sex of the baby in an Instagram video that showed Tom shooting off a confetti cannon to reveal a flurry of pink confetti.

“I feel so blessed to be having a little girl,” she captioned the post, while also predicting that some fans could take issue with the reveal as it’s “outdated.”

She explained: “I also want to say that I know for lots of people reveals are outdated. I get the colour thing is weird and nonsense, and I will raise both of my children with the confidence to be whoever they want to be.

“But with different sexes, come different parenting challenges. I feel so blessed to be having a little girl. Not to dress her in pink or take her to ballet or any of those things.

“And now I feel so happy I get to raise a strong and independent girl who will always know her worth and value is so much more than her looks and relationship status,” she added.
