Pierce Brosnan, 69, has been granted an emergency restraining order against a woman who he alleges is “stalking” him and his family. The Hollywood actor became concerned for his safety after an unnamed woman stayed outside of his Malibu home in a car.

Pierce, who shares sons Dylan and Paris with his wife Keely Shaye Smith, reportedly told the court that he contacted the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department about the woman on two separate occasions.

However, authorities were unable to take her into custody for being outside his property.

Instead, Pierce was advised to seek a civil restraining order, which would make her behaviour chargeable if attained.

The James Bond star reportedly claimed in documents reviewed by The Blast that the woman had initially been looking for fellow actor Dick Van Dyke.

The actor purportedly said: “She’s been stalking me and my family.

“She originally said she was looking for Dick Van Dyke (she has a tattoo of him on her arm) but when she found me and my family, she stayed in front of our house.

“She gave me two odd notes, said she needed $1,500 for new tires, and gave me a drawing she did of me.”

The court then instructed the woman not to contact Pierce or his family “directly or indirectly” or “harass” them.

According to the documents, the woman must stay at least 400 yards away from Pierce’s Malibu residence.

She must also keep distance from any school or workplaces Pierce’s sons might be at.

A further hearing has been set for Tuesday, October 25.

During the hearing, it will be revealed whether the woman receives an extended order that could last up to five years.

Erlier this year, Pierce took to social media to respond after he revealed that his friends offered his wife Keely weight loss surgery.

He rejected the offer as he told how he loves “every curve” of his partner.

He wrote: “Friends offered her surgery to reduce her weight.

“But I strongly love every curve of her body.”

He went on: “She is the most beautiful woman in my eyes. And also because she had our five children.

“In the past, I truly loved her for her person, not only for her beauty, and now I’m loving her even more that she is my children’s mother.

“And I am very proud of her, and I always seek to be worthy of her love,” he concluded.

Pierce and Keely have been married since 2001 after seven years of dating.
