He wrote: “What a peculiar week.”

While in the second picture Phillip is seen with his hand raised up, while he held his phone in the other.

The TV host captioned it: “On the phone to @hollywilloughby. “

The photo comes after Holly Willoughby announced that she would be cutting her holiday short to return to the UK.

Holly jetted back to London early from her break in Portugal so she could self-isolate before returning to work.

Usually, The This Morning duo goes on holiday together, however, this year Phil skipped the trip.

Instead, Holly spent quality time with her husband Dan Baldwin and their three children Harry, 11, Belle, nine and five year old Chester.

The Government’s coronavirus restrictions mean that any passengers returning from Portugal must quarantine for 14 days upon return.

The Daily Mail reported that the star and her family were due to spend seven weeks at the luxury Lago resort enjoying a relaxing break.

However, the star has now shaved off two weeks off the break.

For the majority of the trip, Holly has refrained from posting on social media.

The TV couple will resume filming for This Morning in the autumn.

Meanwhile, Phillip is gearing up to release his memoir after reportedly being offered £1.5million for the book by publishers, according to The Sunday Mirror.

A source told the paper: “Book publishers are all desperate for him to write an autobiography.”

They also claimed that Phillip’s daughter Molly had fielded the offers for him.

“They know it could be a best-seller as he’s such a household name with a legion of fans.

“The money on advances is now more than £1.5m, which could tempt him!”

Phillip has now revealed that his memoir is finished and will be released in October.

The timing of its publishing will come just eight months after he announced being gay, after being married to wife Stephanie Lowe for 27 years.

The This Morning presenter explained: “After being asked many times, and after many years of wanting to, I have written my autobiography.”
