Peter Andre says 2022 is ‘the time’ for another baby

12/21/2021

Peter Andre has confessed that he could be welcoming another addition to his family in 2022.

Writing in his weekly new! column, singer Pete says if there was ever a time he would have another baby, it would have to be next year! Here, he also discusses his children's Christmas lists and his sadness at Miss World 2021 being cancelled just hours he was due to host the broadcast in Puerto Rico. Maybe Baby

At the start of this year I said 2021 would be the last year I would consider having more children.

However, as we spent a lot of time in lockdown, I think we need to put everything back 12 months!

So now I’m saying if it’s going to happen, 2022 is the time.

I’m 49 in February and I’ve always said my limit was until I turn 50, so who knows!

A Magical Time

Since getting back from Puerto Rico, I’ve been focusing on the family and Christmas.

It’s been such a magical time with the kids, especially the younger ones. We’re spending Christmas together this year.

Unbelievably, Princess and Junior haven’t asked for anything!

Junior tells me that now he’s 16 he’s over things like PlayStation, and he has everything he wants like his phone and moped. Princess is the same, so I’ve just got them little bits I know they’ll like.

When it comes to New Year, Emily and I are still in talks about what we’re going to do.

It’s a bit lastminute.com in the Andre household, which is typical of us. But we’ll all be together and that’s the main thing.

Highs And Lows

Getting back on stage and touring with Grease The Musical was a real highlight of this year, especially after such a tough time for the entertainment industry during the pandemic.

Junior and I also made our first feature film together, which was such a proud moment.

It was a busy year for Junior as he also did his GCSEs, started performing arts college and signed a record deal with Columbia Records, while Theo had his very first day of school.

I’m so proud of all the kids for the way they’ve handled school this year with the pandemic.

Talking of the pandemic, it was such a shame that Miss World 2021 was postponed a few hours before it was due to be broadcast due to Covid.

I felt terrible for all the contestants and crew who had worked so hard, but safety comes first.

Thankfully the hard work won’t go to waste as hopefully we’ll be back in Puerto Rico within 90 days for the finale.

Hopefully the next time I travel it will be a bit easier as on the way it was a bit of a challenge.

Myself and Marie-Claire from my management team did PCR tests 72 hours before, as that was what was expected to enter Puerto Rico, but when we got to the airport they told us that because we were transiting through Miami we had to do tests within 24 hours of departure.

We had to do another test at the airport, which meant we almost missed our flight.

Then, during our transit in Miami we were stuck in customs for two hours so we missed our connecting flight and had to stay the night.

To top it off, someone accidentally took my suitcase and the man in question was about half my size, so I thought I was going to end up wearing crop tops for the whole trip!

You honestly couldn’t make it up. My advice would be to really do your research before travelling anywhere that involves transiting through another country as it’s so difficult at the moment.
