Olivia Jade & Isabella Rose Break Social Media Silence To Wish Lori Loughlin A Happy Birthday!
07/29/2019Lori Loughlin’s daughters have broken their social media silence for a very special cause!
After months of inactivity on their social platforms amid their family’s alleged involvement in the nationwide college admissions scandal, Isabella Rose Giannulli and Olivia Jade Giannulli have returned to Instagram to wish their momma a happy 55th birthday.
Bella posted the special shout-out on her page with a black and white photo of her and the Fuller House star. She wrote in the caption:
“Happy birthday mama. I love you. ❤️”

While Olivia didn’t share a tribute on her own personal account, she was quick to comment on her 20-year-old sister’s post, writing:
“my people ❤️”
The touching tribute marks Bella’s first post since January, and OJ’s first sign of IG life since her parents were among the over 40 individuals charged in connection to the college admissions scandal back in early March.
As we reported, Lori and husband Mossimo Giannulli stand accused of paying $500,000 to get their daughters admitted to USC as crew team recruits — despite the fact that neither ever participated in the sport. The couple later pled not guilty to charges of money laundering and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, and are said to be cooking up quite the defense for their upcoming trial.
As for their daughters, public embarrassment isn’t the only reason they’ve been avoiding social media: the family lawyers apparently don’t want them talking to anyone until the trial is over!
A source previously told E! News:
“The girls are devastated and scared for their parents to take the fall. They have been advised not to talk to anyone and are only in communication with their lawyers and their family.”
Save for the odd birthday shout-out, we guess.
The scandal has been particularly hard for Olivia, according to sources, who immediately went into crisis mode after she lost her lucrative partnership with Sephora in the wake of the news.
While the 19-year-old was initially said to be “furious with her parents” for ruining her career with their participation in the scheme, the family situation has since reportedly “improved” in the months since OJ moved out of her parents’ Bel Air Home to focus on rebuilding her social media empire.
Sounds like absence has made Olivia Jade’s heart emojis grow fonder.
