Saying that the ‘We Belong Together’ songstress will always be his ‘fantasy love,’ the former ‘America’s Got Talent’ host admits that he would love to be back together with his ex-wife.

AceShowbiz -While he’s not built for marriage, Nick Cannon would turn back time to the time he was still with Mariah Carey. The multi-talented star has admitted that he would love to get back together with his ex-wife and the mother of his two children.

The 41-year-old professed his undying love to the R&B diva during an appearance on “The Hottee Talk Show”. During the “Spin the Block” segment, he was asked if he would rekindle romance with the “My All” songstress.

“Of course,” Nick answered without hesitation when he was asked about Mariah. He then elaborated, “It was literally like a fairytale with Mariah so I would rather it just be that way and I appreciate that fantasy because if I try to go back and it wasn’t the same, I’d be like, ‘Damn, I messed it up.’ ” He added, “But, if I had the opportunity, if it could be the way it was, I’m there.”

Calling the 53-year-old singer his “fantasy love,” the rapper admitted that he would never have a love like he did with Mariah. “I guess because I’m a true romantic, I’m a true believer in love and I allow the capsules of love to be where they lie,” he explained. “I’m not a timeline dude. I will never have a love like I did with Mariah.”

Nick noted though that he “truly respects” Mariah’s longtime boyfriend Bryan Tanaka. “The dude is amazing with my kids and we have family gatherings and things together so I truly respect it,” he said about the dancer. “But come on, that’s my fantasy love. That’s somebody that I will always love,” he reiterated about Mariah.

Nick then quoted one of Mariah’s songs. “[She’ll] always be my baby!” he exclaimed, making the podcast host Tee laugh.

This isn’t the first time Nick spoke highly of his ex Mariah. “That, to me, was one of the greatest experiences of my life,” he said of their marriage on the the “It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper” podcast back in May, before adding, “and for that to have come to an end … why would I go back, if I couldn’t make that work out right?”

Nick and Mariah tied the knot in 2008 and welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe in April 2011. The pair split in 2014 and their divorce was finalized in 2016. He has since fathered five other children with three different women. “The Masked Singer” host is currently expecting a baby boy with model Bre Tiesi and a ninth child with DJ Abby De La Rosa, who also gave birth to his fifth and sixth kids, twins Zion and Zillion.
