Gardeners’ World presenter Monty Don, 65, has sparked a frenzy amongst his 555,000 Instagram followers by giving an insight into how his garden has changed over 19 years. The horticultural expert’s first snap showed a grass covered pathway leading towards a gate.
The more simple space also featured a scattering of small trees alongside the path.
Monty’s second photo showed a big transformation, as the path had been covered with a stone walkway, with beautiful apple trees hanging overhead.
The third photo showcased how the garden looks now, with some pretty floral plants, which frame the walkway.
Monty revealed the progress he has made with the outdoor space and explained the snaps were taken over an “interval” of 19 years.

Monty’s impressive photos come after he informed eager fans that there would be no winter special of Gardeners’ World hitting screens any time soon.
He shared the news after a fan took to Twitter to ask the gardening expert if there are plans to continue the BBC programme throughout winter and into the spring.
The person in question asked: “Dear @TheMontyDon @GWandShows @BBCTwo please, please will you continue #GardenersWorld throughout the winter into spring.

“It’s so uplifting and I reckon we’ll all need this even more through the next few months. Please retweet if you agree #GardensHour.”
While Monty didn’t directly respond to the question, he later confirmed that any changes to Gardeners’ World would be agreed next year.
In view of his 188,000 followers, he explained: “Regarding winter GW programmes: All the programmes for the year ahead are scheduled in the previous autumn.
“All filming and transmission dates are fixed and crews and production team for the year booked by early February. So any proposed changes would only take place in winter 2021/2.”
