Matt Baker: Countryfile star sends fans wild as he ‘teases’ move with David Beckham

David Beckham, 45, and his family have been giving fans an insight into their lockdown antics at their Cotswold home in recent weeks.

Yesterday, the father-of-four shared a picture of himself posing on his land at his countryside home.

The ex footballer’s snap prompted many of his 63 million followers to comment, including Matt Baker, 42, who joked he will be chatting to David on Countryfile this evening.

David captioned his picture: “Another day, another walk and another hat.”

Matt wrote on the post: “On this weeks countryfile David and I will be talking football and sheep dogs, fantastic.”

Many of David’s fans responded to Matt’s comment, with one writing: “@mattbakerofficial wouldn’t that be a scoop!

“Your people need to speak to his people and make that happen.”

A second commented: “Yes please @davidbeckham make this happen.”

A third echoed: “This needs to happen!!”

It’s not the first time Matt has expressed his desires to get David on the show.

Back in March, David shared a picture on his land with eight-year-old daughter Harper.

Posing alongside their dogs, the pair stopped for a picture during a walk together.

He captioned the snap: “Gorgeous walk with my gorgeous girls #HarperSeven.”

Matt replied: “See you on Countryfile.”
