‘There may be trouble ahead!’ Love Island fans compare Tasha’s romance with Andrew to doomed Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard after her head was turned by Luca

They may be coupled up, but Love Island fans are already predicting there could be ‘trouble ahead’ for Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, as they compared them to the doomed 2019 pairing Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard.

After Andrew’s attempts to apologise to Luca Bish for implying Tasha wasn’t interested in him, fans took to social media to question whether the coupling could already by hitting trouble waters.

It came as viewers saw Andrew profusely apologise to Luca for misleading him in Wednesday’s show, with the hunk insisting he’d ‘never jeopardise anyone’s chances with a girl.’

In the show’s opening moments, Andrew was keen to know how Luca felt about Tasha and speaking at the fire pit, Luca said: ‘She’s attractive. She pulled me for a chat.’ 

But that evening as the Islanders got ready for bed, Andrew suggested to Tasha that Luca isn’t keen on pursuing things with her.

The next day, Tasha and Luca had a chat and Tasha says: ‘What are your thoughts? Just be open and honest.’

Luca said: ‘I fancy you. There is no denying that. I want to keep getting to know you but sharing a bed with another person is so hard.’

Tasha replied: ‘It’s a weird one isn’t it, because me and Andrew share a bed and we cuddle.’

Tasha then revealed how Andrew told her that Luca doesn’t have his sights set on her and Luca is left less than impressed.

Speaking with Paige in the kitchen, Luca said: ‘I’ve got to have a word with Andrew. He’s snaking me.’

Later that evening, Luca decided to question Andrew about his conversation with Tasha. 

As Luca said: ‘For Tasha she was actually upset. It sounds like you kind of just said it, but I never dog a boy out to get to a girl,’ Andrew replied: ‘My point was never to do that.

‘It was an honest mistake I’d never jeopardise anyone’s chances with any other girls. Especially my mates I’d never do that on purpose.’

Candid: The next day, Tasha and Luca had a chat and Tasha said: ‘What are your thoughts? Just be open and honest’

Romance: On Tuesday night’s show things heated up between Andrew and Tasha as the two shared a kiss, having locked lips during the earlier airport challenge

Drama: Later that evening, Luca (left) decided to question Andrew (right) about his conversation with Tasha, with the pair clearing the air after he profusely apologised

Speaking later in the Beach Hut, Luca said: ‘We need to move on and get back to how we were. My most important thing is for everyone in the villa not to feel awkward.’

Andrew went onto pull Tasha aside for a chat, apologising for his behaviour, and she admitted she wanted to ‘slow things down’ between them. 

Despite it being just three days into the series, viewers were quick to predict that things could end in heartbreak between Tasha and Andrew, comparing them to the doomed 2019 couple Amy and Curtis.

Taking to Twitter, several viewers shared comparison images of Tasha and Andrew alongside Amy and Curtis.

One wrote: ‘We need more season 5 vibes, Amber and Michael’s Casa Amor fallout, Maura putting Tom in his place, Ovie memes, Anna’s ‘two days.. TWO. DAYES” Belle and Anton, Curtis and Amy coffeegate, just arguments all the time.’

‘Anyone else looking at Tasha & Andrew & just getting those Amy & Curtis vibes?? There may be trouble ahead,’ another added.

A third tweeted: ‘Tasha and Andrew are headed straight for Amy and Curtis territory, I’m calling it now.’ 

One viewer also posted: ‘Just waiting for Tasha and Andrew to be the next Amy and Curtis.’

Amy and Curtis famously coupled up on the first day of the series, and things appeared to be going well until the infamous Casa Amor, when Curtis’ head was turned by Jourdan Riane.

Amy was stunned to learn that Curtis had been tempted after he decided to stick with her at the recoupling, and in an iconic moment confessed she was about to declare her love for him.

The emotional impact of Curtis’ betrayal became too much for Amy, and she quit the villa just days later, with the dancer going onto pursue, and date, Maura Higgins for seven months after the show.
