Love Island fans predict Ekin-Su’s next career move is with Vogue after spotting signs
08/12/2022Fans have noticed this year’s Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has been getting some attention from one of the biggest names in the fashion world, editor in chief of Vogue Edward Enninful.
With her iconic one liners, the 27-year old certainly kept the drama going this series, and it seems Edward was a fan.
Spotting that the Vogue creative director had been liking Ekin’s posts, a fan rushed to Twitter with screenshots of the proof. They wrote: “Edward Enninful – the creative director and editor in chief of VOGUE being an Ekinde stan lol.”
Edward is currently editor in chief of British Vogue and European editorial director of Condé Nast. He also received OBE in 2016 so it’s fair to say an Instagram like from him is a big deal.
The tweet led to much speculation about whether there might be a Ekin-Vogue collab at some point in the future.
One fan wrote: “I’m obsessed with edward enninful (editor in chief of british vogue) being an ekin-su and davide stan… get them on the cover – give us what we want #LoveIsland”.
Another tweeted: “THAT’S WONDERFUL I HOPE THEY MAKE IT HAPPEN. SHE DESERVES IT ”
Meanwhile, the star has reportedly signed a £1 million deal to become the face of fashion brand Oh Polly.
During the series the soap actress was a huge fan of the women’s fashion brand, wearing 27 items throughout her time on the show and so far she has bagged the biggest deal post-villa.
She also said to be in talks to become a regular on the Loose Women panel.
Ekin-Su won the show with boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, 28, after a rollercoaster romance.
Originally coupled up together, Ekin-Su’s head was turned my Scottish hunk only to soon realise that her heart was with Davide.
Speaking on Loose Women earlier this week the couple were as loved up as ever and admitted that since leaving the villa they have become “a lot closer” and have plans to move in together “probably September, October time” this year.
The pair took the crown by a landslide of 63.9% of the vote, leaving runners up Gemma Owen and Luca Bish with just 14.47%.
It is rumoured that Gemma will also be entering the world of fashion after it was reported that the 19-year-old has secured a "six-figure" deal making her the first islander to bag a clothing deal this year.
