Love Island bosses are reportedly keen to tie host Maya Jama down into a ‘multi-series deal’ after she impressed with her debut on the dating show.
Monday’s series nine launch show saw the presenter, 28, stun in three different outfits, most notably a daring black cut-out dress which left viewers swooning.
And after her success on her first outing after replacing former host Laura Whitmore, it’s been suggested that producers plan to keep her on the show for a while as she’s ‘now a major TV force to be reckoned with.’

The Sun reports that marketeers have said that the presenter has created a ‘dream scenario’ for show bosses, following the huge reaction to her debut.
Industry expert Jonathan Shalit explained: ‘Maya is quite simply fantastic – a true star and now a household name. She has nailed the role of Love Island host totally and shown herself to be a world A-list star.
‘She is now a major TV force to be reckoned with.’
Meanwhile, a source went on to add to the publication that the ‘electric’ launch was stuff that ‘a marketeer’s dreams are made of’ and will no doubt see plenty of people rushing to watch the ITV2 show on catch up.

They added: ‘You’d have to be living under a rock to have missed seeing a photo of Maya in that black dress yesterday and it will surely captivate those who previously only had a casual interest. One thing’s for sure – there will be a lot of urgent conversations around renewing her contract already under way.’

It comes as viewers were left gutted after Maya was absent from the show’s second episode on Tuesday – declaring the series ‘boring’ without her.

While the singletons battled it out in their first challenge, Maya jetted back to London before returning to South Africa later this week.
Taking to Twitter one fan bemoaned: ‘Where was Maya Jama tonight I missed her’.
Another wrote: ‘Can we have a Love Island where there’s no contestants, just an hour of Maya Jama being Maya Jama please’.
While a third tweeted: ‘This is so boring, where’s Maya Jama’.

Meanwhile, Tuesday’s episode saw Tom Clare ruffle feathers during as he coupled up with Olivia Hawkins leaving Will Young single and at risk.
The hunky footballer, 23, who was a late arrival into the South African villa, had all the power as he chose the stunning ring girl leaving Will vulnerable.
However, viewers were left less than impressed as they rushed to Twitter to say they felt bad for Will as Olivia didn’t ‘try to hide her smile when her name was called’.
Fans joked that the farmer needs to ‘smile through the pain’, as he was left sitting solo around the fire pit.
Love Island continues on Wednesday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
