Lorraine Kelly tells Piers Morgan he brings out her ‘dark side’ amid Jennifer Arcuri fury

Lorraine Kelly, 59, was less than impress with Jennifer Arcuri on Good Morning Britain today. When the hosts, Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, wrapped up on their interview with her and linked to Lorraine ahead of her show, the presenter lashed out.

Lorraine asked what was the “point” in Jennifer being on their programme as she didn’t answer any of the major questions directed at her.

After the awkward exchange, Piers seemed to love the fiery side of Lorraine and commented on the moment on Twitter.

He shared a series of fiery emojis as he re-tweeted a clip of Lorraine hitting out at Jennifer on air.

The ITV favourite then revealed she’s “happy to say” Piers influenced her behaviour.

She tweeted: “You bring out my dark side…….I’m happy to say.”

After wrapping up their interview with Jennifer, Piers noted: “Lorraine is here.”

“God, that was crazy wasn’t it?” Lorraine replied. “What was the point? Come on and not answering any questions, what was the point in that?”

Turning to their guest, Piers asked: “Jennifer, do you want to respond to Lorraine?”

“It just doesn’t make any sense, what’s the point of you coming on and then not saying anything?” Lorraine asked her.

“Sorry?” Jennifer replied.

Lorraine continued: “What is the point of you coming on the TV to clear the air and then you don’t say anything?”

“Well I believe I said a few things,” Jennifer hit back.

“What is it that you’re looking for that I should say?”

Lorraine argued: “Well you didn’t answer any of the questions that were put to you and I just don’t see the point of you coming on to be honest.

“Anyway let me tell you what’s coming on after half past.”

Lorraine’s comments came after Jennifer was asked about Boris Johnson and whether they had “an affair”.

She told the hosts: “I’m not going to answer the question, but as you can tell there was a very special relationship there and when it did come out, half the people already assumed the affair and told me to admit.

“The other half just wanted me to deny, deny, deny.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.

Lorraine airs on ITV weekdays from 8.30pm
