Lizzo Drops ‘Truth Hurts’ Remix Featuring DaBaby

Breakout hip-hop star Lizzo has dropped a remix of her widely popular song, “Truth Hurts,” featuring DaBaby.

Originally released in 2017, the track is included on Lizzo’s most recent album, “Cuz I Love You” that was released in April of 2019, and has also been featured in the top 10 of Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart.

The song has made quite the impact, as the singer recently tweeted a video of a 2016 democratic debate featuring Hilary Clinton and several other candidates, in which the national anthem has been replaced by “Truth Hurts.”

Clinton herself responded to the admittedly silly video with lyrics of the song: “I just took a DNA test, turns out…” which ends with the words “I’m 100% that b-ch.”

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old “Juice” hitmaker is gearing up to perform at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday, August 26, and has received two nominations.
