Lil’ Kim Thinks Teyana Taylor Could Play Her In A Biopic

Rapper Lil’ Kim wants singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and model Teyana Taylor to portray her in a biopic.

“It can only be a girl that’s from the hood that I’m from [to portray me],” Kim told Essence. “There’s nobody else in the industry at all but Teyana.”

However, Kim also added that she would like someone from even closer to home than Taylor to play her.

“I love Teyana, but she’s from Harlem. Before Teyana, I would love to get some little girls from Brooklyn a chance so I can connect.
Really connect,” she added.

Previously, Kim had said that she didn’t like the casting of Naturi Naughton as herself in 2009’s Notorious, the life story of murdered Brooklyn rapper Notorious B.I.G, whom she dated for several years.

“I hate that movie. To me, it was like a spoof. It was something that I would have never approved. I didn’t like who played me. No. No, no, no, no,” she said at the time.
