Lady Gaga Wins MTV Movie & TV Award For Performance In ‘A Star Is Born’

Lady Gaga has won the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Award for Best Performance in a Movie for her performance in the musical romantic drama A Star is Born.

Lady Gaga plays the role of Ally, the lover of a hard-drinking musician, Jack, in the film. Ally is a singer-songwriter who is discovered by Jack and later becomes his wife.

The film has grossed over $434 million worldwide and received critical acclaim, including praise for Gaga. She received an Oscar nomination for Best Actress for the role.

The other nominees in the category included Rami Malek for playing Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody.
