Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom to 'wed at end of year in intimate ceremony'

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are said to be getting married at the end of the year.

The Lord Of The Rings star only popped the question to his girl four months ago, however it sounds like the loved up couple are already well on their way with the wedding planning.

When chatting to People Magazine, a source claimed that the stars will hold an ‘intimate’ ceremony with their family.

The insider told the publication: ‘They are using a planner to finalise all the wedding details. Katy seems in charge, but Orlando is involved with the planning, too.’

They added: ‘They don’t seem stressed about it though. It will be a fun celebration with family and friends.’

While the pair are remaining tight lipped about their big day, the Dark Horse songstress did give a little insight as to what she would be wearing when chatting on Good Morning America.

‘Someone decided to put up with me for the rest of my life,’ the 34-year-old gushed before joking that they are yet to set a date.

‘Well, I guess I should get started on that! I haven’t figured that part out,’ she confessed: ‘We’re definitely, like, enjoying the moment.’

Talking about whether or not she would design her own shoes, Katy told the audience: ‘I figure if I do, it would probably have something to do with flowers and blooming.’

Orlando proposed to the popular singer on Valentine’s Day, and although the Fireworks hitmaker recalled the moment as ‘really sweet’, it seems not all went to plan for the 42-year-old.

‘It was Valentine’s Day,’ Katy said when talking on Jimmy Kimmel Live! ‘I thought we were going to go see some art after dinner, but instead we pulled up to a helicopter.’

When the couple got on board their flight, Orlando handed a note to Katy which listed all of the things he loved about her.

The singer went on to tell Jimmy how the note was supposed to distract her while her man pulled the ring from his pocket.

However, despite good intentions, the box that held her engagement ring was too big and ended up ripping Orlando’s pocket as he yanked it out.

Tugging on his jacket, the actor then smashed a champagne bottle after accidentally knocking it over with his elbow.

Oh, Orlando! Let’s hope the wedding day isn’t as disastrous.
