Katie Price has reportedly been left “angry and disappointed” after her son Harvey’s dad Dwight Yorke failed to get in touch after the teen's emotional documentary aired on Monday 25 January.

The 42 year old mum-of-five starred alongside the 18 year old in a touching film on BBC, which focussed on Katie’s decision to send her son to a residential college, leaving fans in some tears.

Katie reportedly hoped that the film would prompt the 49 year old former footballer to reach out to his son Harvey, who was recently seen cuddling up to his little sister Bunny in a sweet clip.

But, it’s understood Dwight has failed to get in contact with Harvey, which has left Katie upset.

A source has told The Sun Online: “Katie hasn’t heard from Dwight, and she’s fuming about it – but as always, has left the door open for him to get in contact in the future”.

They added: “She doesn’t expect much from Dwight given that he’s ignored Harvey for a long time, but part of her thought he might see the show and get in contact.”

Meanwhile Katie’s representative told the publication: “Katie is sadly somewhat resolved to this being the usual outcome – Katie has made it quite clear however that the door will always be open to change that at any time.”

OK! online has contacted representatives for Dwight for comment.

Harvey has a number of health conditions including Prader-Willi syndrome, septo-optic dysplasia, and autism but Katie has explained that the move to a residential college is for the young lad to have more independence.

She told Studio 10 in Australia: “It's not because I don't want to see him, but I have to give him a chance to have an independent life.”

Dwight has only met Harvey “a handful of times” and Harvey has never met his half-brother, Dwight’s son, according to reports.

In December 2019, Katie shared a heartbreaking video of her son asking to see his dad and saying he “loves his daddy”.

Katie posted the clip on her Instagram and penned: “Anyone who knows @officialdwightyorke19 please get him to contact his son Harvey doesn’t deserve this, he see’s his other son Tiger so I don’t understand!

“He does charity work for different kids charity yet doesn’t see or support his own son . I don’t get it !”

Then, in October 2020, Katie explained that Harvey “doesn’t understand” why he hasn’t got a relationship with his father Dwight.

She told Mirror: “The thing is, Harvey's been let down like I have. I mean, majorly let down and you don't do it to kids.

“I'm an adult, it's not nice to let people down, but Harvey has seriously been let down by my serious relationships I've had.

“He doesn't understand why the kids go to see their dads and he doesn't. He doesn't understand.”
