Kate Middleton’s subtle nod to Meghan and Harry through Jubilee hat

All eyes have been on the Royal Family as they celebrated The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

A particularly fashionableKate Middleton dazzled during Thanksgiving Service at St Paul's Cathedral on Friday whenshe paired a yellow number with matching hat.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 40, brought the sunshine with her in a canary yellow dress by Emilia Wickstead, and opted for a matching shade on her head with a Philip Treacy hat.

She paid tribute to her brother-in-law and his wife with the hat which was made by one of Meghan Markle's favourite designers.

During the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan in 2018, Kate also wore a hat by Philip Treacy.

That hat to celebrate the couple’s happy day that the Duchess donned came in white with cream roses.

This isn’t the first timeKate paid tribute to Harry and Meghan with her choice of headpiece.

She also donned a hat by Philip Treacy in a green number for the final Royal Garden Party of the year in May.

WhileKate chose a piece by the designer for her appearance at Trooping the Colouron Thursday as well.

She stuck to firm favourites for her outfit for the event, and went back to her wedding dress designer Alexander McQueen.

She stunned in a white Alexander McQueen coat dress for the ceremony which she paired with a white and blue Philip Treacy hat, with her hair in a neat braided chignon.

With her outfit,Kate also paid tribute to Princess Dianawith a pair of the princess' diamond and sapphire earrings to her look that came in a floral pattern, which she paired with a matching necklace.

The jewellery is believed to have been a present fromPrince Williambefore their wedding that took place in April 2011.

The late Princess of Wales visited Ottawa in 1983 alongsidePrince Charlesand sported the glistening jewels with a pearl choker.

Kate has plenty of jewellery of Diana’s that she’s showed off over the years. Most notably, the Duchess’ engagement ring is the same one Prince Charles gave his fiancée on their engagement.

After The Duke popped the question, Kate realised that the original design byGarrardwas too big for her finger and the pair enlisted jeweller G. Collins and Sons to get it resized.

To avoid damaging the ring, the jewellers resized it using a method that doesn’t require any breaking or resoldering of the band. Instead, the process involves adding small platinum beads inside the band to reduce its diameter.
