06/17/2019

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton) is gorgeous as she lines up while attending the 2019 Order of the Garter Service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on Monday (June 17) in Windsor, England.

The 37-year-old royal was joined at the event by her husband Prince William, as well as Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall and the Countess of Wessex as they welcomed Queen Letizia of Spain and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.

The Order of the Garter is the senior and oldest British Order of Chivalry, founded by Edward III in 1348. The Garter ceremonial dates from 1948, when formal installation was revived by King George VI for the first time since 1805.

Both King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and King Felipe VI of Spain were invested by the queen at this year’s ceremony, with both being made Stranger Knights of the Garter.

That same day, Prince Harry made a speech at the Chatham House Africa Programme event on “Mine, Clearance, Conservation and Economic Development in Angola” at Chatham House in London Colney.

FYI: Kate Middleton is wearing a custom Catherine Walker dress.
