The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton stunned in a summery emerald green dress and wedges as she played with children in her nature garden.

The 37 year old invited children from four different charities to take part in a treasure hunt and a picnic at the nature garden that she designed.

The garden has re-opened at the Royal Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival following a successful stint at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Kate beamed during her day at the garden, as she accessorised her look with pale pink dangly earrings, while her glossy brunette looks were worn down in a bouncy style.

The mother-of-three was seen holding hands with adorable children and helping them spot insects and explore the garden.

The garden was designed with the belief that spending time outdoors plays a pivotal role in children’s future health and happiness.

In one photo, the royal couple's youngest child Prince Louis was seen taking his first steps on camera, while doting dad William looked on proudly in the background.

In another, siblings George and Charlotte were seen dipping their bare feet into a stream before they were photoed playing on a rope string.

George was also heard responding to dad Prince William when he asked his son to rate Kate’s garden design out of ten.

William said: "What would you give it out of ten, George? How many marks out of ten would you give it, with ten being the highest?

The little boy sweetly said: “Twenty!”, to which William said: “Twenty out of ten? That's pretty good, I think mummy's done well.”
