Kailyn Lowry Mocks Body-Shamer: LOL, You’re a Nobody!

10/06/2020

Kailyn Lowry just climbed to the top rope of social media, steadied herself…

… and came flying down with a match-ending elbow to the solar plexus of an ignorant, moronic troll.

In a manner of speaking, that is.

The Teen Mom 2 star shared stripped down for a bra-laden photo shoot on Instagram this week, opening up life as a new mother in the process.

“moms don’t get enough credit,” Lowry wrote to open the lengthy caption she wrote alongside the photo below, adding;

“women in general don’t get enough credit.

“we are expected to do all the things.

“carry our babies for 9-10 months, breastfeed, (for some of us) raise other kids, be up all hours of the night, hit the ground running with work & then are mom shamed when we want/need time to ourselves (when we deserve it!)”

Lowry was trying to make a grand and important point about society with this image and these words.

But the point was very much lost on at least one follower.

“She deleted my comments. Truth hurt don’t [sic] it,” this loser wrote, apparently referring to some harsh things he said about Lowry’s body.

“I hate these celebrities [who] delete comments, they just want the ones where they say she’s cute when she’s not and [delete] the ones [who] call her out. Some bulls–t.”

Lowry, however, quickly clapped back at this random stranger, putting him in his place with the following retort:

“I’ve never seen your comments until now, babe. Don’t flatter yourself.”

Perfect reply, right?

What sort of idiot gets mad at a star for allegedly deleting a comment that’s critical of her post-baby figure? And then wants the world to know that he made such an insensitive remark in the first place?!?

Kailyn, meanwhile, told podcast co-host Lindsie Chrisley she “cried” during her first day back at the gym after her fourth child’s arrival.

She’s been very open about coming close to nearly aborting this baby and then now about what it’s like to look in the mirror in the weeks and months after giving birth.

“motherhood isn’t supposed to be a competition – and neither are our bodies,” Lowry added on Instagram, explaining of her half-naked photoshoot:

“i’ve birthed 4 humans & people expect my body to snap back immediately. when it doesn’t – i get body shamed, when I go to the gym it’s selfish.

“when I love my body, it’s unhealthy. there is no “winning” for me in the court of public opinion.”

Kailyn went on to say that she is dedicated to losing weight and getting healthy, but…

“i decided to do shit at my own pace.

“i decided i would start here – a photoshoot to be proud of my body and really love what it has been capable of doing 4x – but also as a starting point in my fitness & health journey.

“hopefully i will be able to look back on these photos & see significant changes & progress – but still have love for myself & all that my body has gone through.”

In conclusion, Kailyn sent a message to other females around the globe.

“cheers to loving ourselves & our bodies and to supporting & uplifting other women & moms,” she wrote.

Very well said all around, Kail.

Both in terms if how you put a troll in his place, and how you also tried to do the same to other mothers… in the total opposite and uplifting sense.
