Kaia Gerber Makes a Strong Case for a Shaggy Bob With Bangs

Kaia Gerber is the most recent celebrity to get the the ever-popular shag haircut, joining the ranks of Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, and Doja Cat, to name a few.

On Nov. 9, the model debuted the new look on her Instagram Story, but her hair isn't the only thing she showed off. She also gave a shoutout to her favorite rosy pink YSL Rouge Volupté Shine Lipstick. (Gerber is one of YSL Beauty's celebrity ambassadors.)

As for Gerber's hair, her long, shoulder-skimming bob is layered with shaggy ends. Her new cut also includes textured, eye-length full bangs.

Gerber's new style is further proof that the shag continues to reign supreme as the cut of 2021, whether you're opting for a classic mullet look or the newly coined "wolfcut," the latter of which the model's look leans towards. Celebrity hairstylist, Sarah Potempa and founder of The Beachwaver Co. previously told InStyle that "the wolf haircut is a mix between a vintage shag and a slight mullet."

This certainly isn't Kaia's first time experimenting with her hair, and it inevitably won't be the last. In the past, the model has had a short blunt bob, and has had fun with a number of colors, including cotton candy pink and platinum blonde.
