John Legend responds as Michael B Jordan becomes Sexiest Man Alive

Michael B. Jordan is officially People’s Sexiest Man Alive, and John Legend couldn’t be happier for him.
Black Panther actor Michael was honored with the title this year, meaning he’s now dethroned the award-winning singer.
John took the news in his stride and was quick to show some love on Twitter.
The singer reposted a video of Michael talking about the honor with the caption: ‘Congratulations to my brother Michael B! And thank you!’
He then added: ‘I can now keep gaining this quarantine weight in peace without the pressure of a title to maintain.’
Michael, 33, was unveiled as the Sexiest Man Alive on Jimmy Kimmel Live, emerging on the show in a hazmat suit with a smiley face drawn on the head covering.
In the end it was LA native Ashley that guessed correctly that it was Michael under that hazmat suit.

Jimmy joked: ‘He’s sexy, he’s alive’ – which are pretty much the only qualifications needed for the title.
The Fruitvale Station star said it was a ‘cool feeling’ to be named Sexiest Man Alive, saying: ‘You know, everybody always made that joke, like, “Mike, this is the one thing you’re probably not going to get.” But it’s a good club to be a part of.’
He said that the women in his family ‘are definitely proud of this one’, explaining: ‘When my grandmother was alive, it was something that she collected, and then my mum naturally reads it a lot and my aunts as well. This is one that they’re definitely going to have a special place for.’
Michael is the fourth star of the MCU to be honored – Bradley Cooper, who voices Rocket, won in 2011, Thor star Chris Hemsworth won in 2014, and Idris Elba, who played Heimdall, was named Sexiest Man Alive in 2018.
