Joe, who will be going on tour with Dianne this month for their production, The Joe and Dianne Show, was asked if he ever gets asked for his ID.

In response, the vlogger recalled: “In Sainsbury’s the other day, me and Dianne bought a bottle of gin, and I got ID’d. Dianne didn’t have to show hers but I had to show mine.”

Prior to Susannah’s question, Joe admitted that now he is approaching 30, he wants “to stay looking as young as possible for as long as possible”.

The TV star then went on to explain that he’s always been asked for ID, even after turning 18.

Joe explained to the journalist: “I used to back in the day. When I turned 18, all my friends were going out to night clubs and bars, like 16, 17, because they all had beards and stuff.”

He then stunned Susannah as he added: “I didn’t even grow armpit hair until I was 20!”

The podcast host then joked with the blogger “You could have had some of mine!”

Following on from their brief discussion on beard hair, Joe reflected on when he finally turned 18.

However, he admitted that he never liked the idea of getting a fake ID as he “didn’t want to be embarrassed”.

The TV personality said: “So, I never went out with my friends before I turned 18, I just didn’t want to be embarrassed by being turned away for having fake ID or anything like that.

“So I was a good boy and waited until I was 18,” Joe continued to tell Susannah.

He then went on to say that when his first night out finally came, the security and bouncers had to check if his ID was real.

As he opened up to the TV presenter, he explained: “No, because it never worked.”

Joe explained that it was down to being in a “small-boned” family.
