Russian hackers allegedly posted Jeremy Clarkson’s personal details on the dark web after trying to blackmail Britain’s poshest farm shop.

It’s claimed other celebs, including Sir David Attenborough, have also been targeted by a group named Snatch after the Guy Ritchie movie, which has a cult following.

The hackers use cyber “brute-force” to infiltrate company networks and then secretly collect data.

It’s understood posh farm shop, Daylesford Organic, was targeted by Snatch which, over the years, has also targeted companies in America, Canada and Europe. Several A-List celebrities, including Jeremy, shop there.

The farm shop told Gloucestershire Live it “takes customer data protection very seriously”.

The cyber breach is purported to have happened in June last year.

A spokesman for the shop said today: “Daylesford Organic was the victim of a cyberattack back in June 2021. It was reported to, and thoroughly investigated by, the ICO at the time and there has been no further incident since. Daylesford Organic takes customer data protection very seriously and additional security measures were put in place to defend the business following the 2021 attack.”

Around 80 gigabytes of stolen files were said to have been uploaded to the dark web after Daylesford refused to pay ransom in Bitcoin.

It’s believed Daylesford inspired the former Top Gear presenter to set up Diddly Squat Farm Shop for his Amazon TV series Clarkson’s Farm. Ex girlfriend Philippa Page revealed it was his favourite shop in her book about the time she spent with the broadcaster.

Other famous victims include Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, tennis star Tim Henman and snooker ace Ronnie O’Sullivan, reports Mail on Sunday.

Although he had Daylesford deliveries to Number Ten during the pandemic, Boris Johnson’s details have not been released onto the dark web, according to the report.

Cyber attacks are on the increase and last December Russian hackers were blamed for attacking Gloucester City Council computer systems.
