Earlier on today,Danny was reunited with Steph and their baby son over a video link while on Lorraine.

Both Danny and Steph were overcome with emotion seeing each other again, as the husband and wife-to-be said how much they’d missed each other.

As Danny began to cry after speaking to Steph, he said to Lorraine Kelly: "Oh my God, this wasn't the plan I'm sorry Lorraine this must be so awkward for you!"

There was some controversy around Danny leaving behind his newborn child for three weeks, but the 30 year old has insisted that he went on I’m A Celeb toset up baby Albert “for a good future”.

“I've made no secret of the fact that I wanted to be able to set him up for a good future,” the former Emmerdale actor told Ant and Dec.

“I wasn't financially set for that, and this is an opportunity to do that and set me and my family up. I feel like I've done it, and I'm proud of myself.”

"This is three weeks of my life, and Albert isn't really going to remember me being there or not. Steph is doing amazing with breastfeeding, she's an amazing mum. It gave me even more confidence to want to go to the Castle and provide for the family,” he continued.
