Holly Willoughby necks fizz at boozy Christmas lunch with famous friends

Holly Willoughby is getting into the festive spirit as Christmas approaches.

The This Morning presenter, 38, and her pals – including Christine Lampard and Emma Bunton – went all out for their Christmas get-together as they hopped on the pricey Belmond British Pullman for a vintage train experience on Friday.

The group of friends indulged themselves by forking out at least £400 for the five-course dinner on the automobile.

Holly shared the day on her Instagram account and proved the girls didn't hold back on splurging as they knocked back flutes of champagne.

Alongside a gallery of snaps that showed the group in high-spirits as they beamed at the camera, the TV favourite wrote: "Best day with my girls… @shishib@christinelampard@emmaleebunton#nikidemetz … magical Poirot vibes… @belmondbritishpullman@agencyoneuk ."

It is no surprise that Holly invited Spice Girl Emma to the festivities as the pals often head out on the tiles as a duo.

Earlier this year, Emma's band mate Mel B claimed that Baby Spice and Holly were so close that they once snogged on a night out.

Mel shared the story on Kelly Brook 's Heart Breakfast show, saying it all came out during a recording of Celebrity Juice.

Scary Spice Mel says while filming an episode of the ITV2 comedy panel show in May, Holly was being teased about whether or not she'd kissed a woman.

Mel said: "She [Emma] told me that they [her and Holly] had a night out and had a bit of a girl kiss.

"And I was on a panel with Holly Willoughby and I went 'Oh you and Emma, you snogged didn’t you last night?'

"And she went 'What?! Why would you say that out loud?!'"

The story prompted Kelly to share her own tale of trying to snog Holly.

She said: "I tried to snog Holly once, she didn’t go there."

It wouldn't have been the first time Holly and Kelly have locked lips though.

The sexy duo set pulses racing in 2013 when they kissed on the lips during a game on Celebrity Juice.

The pair were passing a piece of paper between each other using their mouths when Holly dropped it and planted a kiss on Kelly's lips instead.
