The first five European dates of the Hella Mega Tour have been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Hella Mega Tour, featuring Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer, was scheduled to kick off in Paris on June 13.

A joint statement issued by the three bands regarding the postponement said, “There’s nothing that makes our bands happier than playing shows, and maybe no other tour that we’ve all been this excited for, but due to the current health crisis, we’re having to postpone a number of our European shows.”

The other four shows that have been postponed were scheduled to be held in the Netherlands on June 14, in Belgium on June 17, in the Czech Republic on June 19, and in Austria on June 21.

The statement added that the bands are working hard to finalize dates for the rescheduled shows next summer. Fans have been advised to hold on to their tickets for the postponed dates.
