The kids are growing up.

On Instagram yesterday, Halle Berry shared a rare photo of her daughter, Nahla Aubry, whom she shares with ex Gabriel Aubry, as she officially enters her teenage years.

In the photo, Berry holds Nahla close as the camera captures the two mid-laugh. “No matter how many times I tell her I love her, I love her more than that,” Berry wrote in the caption. “Happy 13th Birthday Nahla Boo 💜.”

Later on her Instagram Story, the Catwoman actress also shared photos of how they were celebrating Nahla’s big day, including a cake with rainbow sprinkles and 13 tall pink, blue, and purple candles.

“I love you Nahla boo,” Berry wrote over the photos. “Here’s to 13 beautiful years around the ☀️.”

Berry is also mom to seven-year-old Maceo Martinez, whom she shares with ex Olivier Martinez. The actress spoke to InStyle in 2019 about her experience with motherhood.

“Being a mom is the best job, but my kids don’t care about who I am outside of this house,” she told the magazine. “My daughter got a sense of who I am from friends at school. And — this is funny — for the last year, my son has been saying my full name really loudly in public like, ‘Halle Berry, can you pass me the ketchup?’ It’s just so embarrassing! He knows it gets a reaction from people, but he can’t quite figure out why.”

She added, “The only thing I want at the end of the day is for my children to say, ‘You weren’t perfect, you didn’t do everything right, but you were a good mom.’ I spent almost 10 years being in mom mode. Now that my youngest is starting kindergarten, I feel like I can get back into my life, and that’s important. I want to keep challenging myself and proving that I can still follow my passions, take risks, and take on characters who make me feel alive.”
