No face Goop allowed! Gywneth Paltrow, 47, bans make-up at A-list party and Demi Moore thanks her for sharing her ‘light, love and wisdom’ in selfie with Keanu Reeves’ girlfriend

Gwyneth Paltrow hosted an exclusive A-list dinner party in Beverly Hills on Wednesday night with one strict instruction: no make-up allowed.

The 47-year-old Oscar-winning star invited her pals Kate Hudson, 40, Demi Moore, 57, and Rachel Zoe, 48, to the event, where she was promoting her new Goop Glow skin products.

Alexandra Grant, 47, an Los Angeles based artist who is dating Keanu Reeves, also attended the starry night. 

Not everyone appeared thrilled with the no-make up theme; stylist Zoe appeared to ignore the request by wearing thick mascara and lip-gloss. 

Another of Paltrow’s pals – Baby2Baby co-president Kelly Sawyer – admitted on Instagram that she was not ‘in love’ with the idea of attending a party bare-faced. 

But Moore, who was joined at the event by her daughter Rumer Willis, 31, seemed delighted with the chance to ditch the glam squad.

She raved about the ‘powerful’ evening in a gushing message on Instagram on Thursday morning, alongside a selfie with Paltrow and Grant. 

She wrote: ‘What an incredible night makeup-free with these extraordinary women. I feel so nourished and full of joy. 

‘Thank YOU both for sharing your light, love and wisdom! 

‘Beauty is more than what you see, it is what you feel,’ she continued.

‘So grateful to be included in such a powerful, memorable and meaningful evening! #goopglow’

Paltrow wore a pink Oscar de la Renta dress with flat shoes and her hair down. 

Moore stunned in a black and white outfit while her daughter wore a plunging floral top and a green skirt. 

Hudson had on a silky floral dress with white cowboy boots. Her hair was pulled back and she had dainty earrings.

Didn’t she get the memo? Zoe, 48, appeared to ignore the make-up free theme, opting for lashings of mascara and lip gloss

Gwyneth’s skin care line joins a wide range of Goop products endorsed by the star.

She recently made headlines after releasing a Goop candle called ‘This Candle Smells Like My Vagina.’

It sold out immediately even though the name shocked the country. 

And the actress told guest host John Legend when appearing on Ellen on Friday that she did it to take the shame out a woman’s private parts.

‘The idea that women have been taught to have a certain amount of shame about their body,’ said the wife of Brad Falchuk.

Paltrow launched her lifestyle brand Goop in 2008 as a weekly newsletter.

She has turned it into a ‘wellness’ empire, with fashion collections, skin care lines, fragrances, furniture, brick and mortar stores, a magazine and a podcast among other ventures.

She recently released a new show, The Goop Lab, on streaming giant Netflix.

The Goop founder is mother to daughter Apple and son Moses, 13, from her first marriage to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 42, who she was married to from 2003 to 2014.
