Glass Animals Cover Lorde’s ‘Solar Power’ For BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge

Glass Animals covered Lorde‘s “Solar Power” during their recent BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance.

In addition to playing their hits like “I Don’t Wanna Talk (I Just Wanna Dance)” and “Heat Waves,” the British rock band, which recently received their first Grammy nomination, performed the title track from Lorde’s most recent album.

Glass Animals earned their first Grammy nomination in the Best New Artist category at the 2022 Grammy Awards. They will be competing against Arooj Aftab, Jimmie Allen, Baby Keem, FINNEAS, Japanese Breakfast, The Kid Laroi, Saweetie and Arlo Parks for the award.

“Solar Power,” released on June 11 2021, was written and produced by Lorde and Jack Antonoff. The album debuted atop Billboard‘s Alternative Albums chart.
