Friend star Maggie Wheeler stuns fans with age-defying look as she makes rare TV appearance years after playing Janice.

The 59 year old looked incredible during an interview on the This Morning Show.

Friends star Maggie Wheeler has surprised fans after making a rare TV appearance – 16 years after the last Friends episode aired.

The 59 year old was famed for playing Janice and became a much-loved character thanks to her outrageous laugh and famous ‘oh my god’ catchphrase.

Speaking about her time on the show alongside the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox, Maggie shared many behind the scenes secrets from he popular show.

But it wasn’t the insight fans couldn’t believe, but her age-defying appearance. The almost-60 year old looked stunning as she joined from her home in New York City, rocking lengthy brunette waves and stylish clear glasses.

And speaking about her famous character’s voice, she said: "I made the decision about the voice in advance. I created the laugh because Matthew is so funny and I knew he would make me laugh on set."

"I thought Janice better have a laugh because he will crack me up every time we work together and so, that is how that happened."

And speaking about getting the Friends role, she admitted it came after she was fired from Ellen Degeneres’ sitcom These Friends Of Mine.

"I had been on the first season of the Ellen DeGeneres show and had a great time but when I was fired from that show, I was devastated.


"I was so shaken by it, it was an unthinkable thing as an actor, but I felt in a way liberated to do the work I wanted to do without fear or favour."

She added: "On any other day I might have done the Friends audition differently, but it came hot on the heels off that and I felt free and decided to do what I wanted to do on that day and it worked in my favour."

Despite Maggie's role originally expected to be brief, she went on to have numerous appearances right up until the show concluded in its tenth season.

Although the long-awaited Friends Reunion date is still up in the air amid the ongoing pandemic, Maggie admitted she is hopeful that bosses will invite her to appear in the special.
