Elton John exuded his celebrity status as he made a star-studded arrival at his incredibly lavish stag do in London's West End back in 2005.

A reminder of one of the most legendary night's out in showbiz history has resurfaced after a sneak peek inside the swanky event was hinted at during last night's episode of The Masked Singer.

The Unicorn teased a clue of his identity and revealed Ozzy Osbourne had seen him in his birthday suit at Elton’s stag party.

The obvious hint led the iconic rocker's daughter Kelly to easily uncover the Unicorn's identity as Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears.

The 35-year-old purple hair beauty announced: "I think I know who you are. Jake Shears from the Scissor Sisters as I know my dad has seen him naked. It was Elton’s stag party."

After finally being unmasked, Jake confirmed: "I was at Elton’s stag do, it was a good time, it was really fun!"

Jake, 41, attended the infamous party to help Elton and David Furnish enjoy their last night of freedom at plush nightclub Too2Much in London's Soho in 2005.

The club was once Soho's most famous strip club, Raymond's Revue Bar, reputed to be the UK's first nude cabaret bar.

The rumoured £100,000 pre-wedding party was a spectacle in itself and saw Ozzy and Jake joined by Sir Tim Rice, Liz Hurley, Kid Rock, Orlando Bloom, Graham Norton, Janet Street-Porter and musician Bryan Adams.

Inside, the glamorous line-up of attendees were treated to topless waiters wearing black ties, riding boots and stag horns, who served an array of champagne and sparkling wine.

The power couple of the night, Elton and David, made a statement by arriving an hour late to their joint stag do and sneaking through the back to make a shocking arrival.

Pop legend Elton, now 71, lived up to his flamboyant character as he stepped out in a turquoise suit while David, now 57, dazzled into the venue wearing a glittering black coat.

TV presenter Paul O'Grady compered the stag night event and famously told the crowd how Elton and David had "lived in sin for long enough".

The star, also known as drag queen Lily Savage, joked: "We're going to tie them to a lamppost, cover them with shaving foam – it's an old-fashioned stag do."

Late Brit star Cilla Black already had a wedding present in mind when she arrived at the joint stag party.

She famously announced: "They don't want presents they want donations for the various Aids charities.

"But I'm still going to buy them a present, I'm going to get them the tackiest toaster I can find."

The iconic cabaret show featured performances from Sir Ian McKellen and 90s boy band phenomenon Take That teamed up with Lulu to belt out Relight My Fire.

Guests were also surprised with a saucy strip tease from former Blue boyband member Lee Ryan.

Elton and David set the tone for the Big Spender-themed night, called Gang Bang, on the official invites.

According to reports from the evening, the smitten couple enjoyed the night in a booth lined with pink feather boas.

After the lavish stag do hit headlines and stunned the globe, Elton gushed thanks for the "fantastic" stars that attended his cabaret hen night.

However, reports have resurfaced that the star then sensationally branded Madonna a "miserable cow" for not turning up to sing.

The bash glittered with A-listers but Madonna reportedly refused to sing at the event. Elton told revellers: "Madonna, the miserable cow, wouldn't do it. David asked her three times."

Kylie Minogue sent footage congratulating the couple and Little Britain stars David Walliams and Matt Lucas – dressed as characters Lou and Andy – for a hilarious video message.

The couple wed in a civil partnership in 2005 at a plush ceremony at Windsor’s Guildhall.

When same-sex marriage became legal in Britain in 2014, the couple converted their partnership into a marriage on the same date, December 21.

They have two children, born via a surrogate: Zachary, eight, and Elijah, six.
