Ed Sheeran has returned to No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart after more than a year, with the help of his latest album No. 6 Collaborations Project, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The “Shape of You” singer rose from third position to the No. 1 spot on the Artist 100 chart dated July 27 to become the top musical act in the U.S.

Sheeran last topped the Artist 100 chart in March of 2018 amid the success of his No. 1 Hot 100 single “Perfect.”

This is Sheeran’s 12th total week at the top position on the chart. He has now overtaken Justin Bieber for fifth-most weeks at No. 1 on the Artist 100, after Taylor Swift (36), Drake (31), The Weeknd (15) and Ariana Grande (13).

Sheeran’s latest LP, No.6 Collaborations Project, debuted at No. 1 on the 200 chart with 173,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending July 18, according to Nielsen Music.

The album, which is a follow-up to 2011’s No. 5 Collaborations Project, was released on July 12 by Asylum Records and Atlantic Records.

The project features a range of guest appearances from Bieber, Camila Cabello, Travis Scott, Eminem, 50 Cent, Cardi B, Paulo Londra, Young Thug and Bruno Mars.
