Dua Lipa Can’t Wait to Be an “Auntie” to Gigi Hadid’s Baby

Well wishes continue to pour in over Gigi Hadid’s baby news.

Per E! News, singer Dua Lipa expressed her excitement over soon becoming an “auntie” to Gigi and Zayn Malik’s upcoming bundle of joy while on the phone with New Zealand radio station The Edge NZ. Lipa is currently dating (and quarantining with) Gigi’s younger brother, Anwar Hadid.

“It’s very exciting news. We’re very, very excited,” said Lipa. The “Don’t Start Now” singer also hinted that she had known about the pregnancy for “not long” but did hear the secret “a little bit” before reports began to hit online outlets.

News broke on Tuesday that the supermodel and the former One Direction member were expecting their first child together. Gigi then confirmed the news Thursday during a virtual interview on an At Home Edition of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“Obviously, you know, we wish we could’ve announced it on our own terms, but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support,” said the model. “Especially during this time, it’s a nice silver lining to be able to be home and together, and really experience it day by day.”
