The Disneyland Resort is back open!

Disneyland and California Adventure parks reopened on Friday (April 30) to a multitude of awaiting guests who were eager to experience the Disney magic again.

Cast members lined Main Street USA to welcome back guests, with Disney CEO Bob Chapek, Executive Chairman Bob Iger, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro and Disneyland President Ken Potrock among those welcoming Disney fans back to the Happiest Place on Earth.

Bob Iger even shared a photo looking down Main Street, writing, “A truly happy day at the happiest place on earth, @Disneyland! To our cast and our guests, welcome back!”

Many fans who were lucky to get inside shared videos and photos of their first time in Disneyland in over a year. The park was closed for 412 days due to the pandemic, the longest it’s ever been closed in it’s almost 66 year history.

Although the park is finally back open, it is only open to residents of California, and those who have reserved tickets through the new reservation system. Find out all the info you need to know before going to Disneyland!

If you missed it, some of your favorite rides may not be open just yet. Some will remain closed for refurbishments, like Jungle Cruise, and others are temporarily closed as they don’t meet the state guidelines to be open.
