Disneyland Fans Calling For Splash Mountain To Be Re-Themed To ‘Princess & The Frog’

Fans of Disneyland are wanting one of the most popular rides at the park to be redone.

Amid Black Lives Matter protests, people are calling on Splash Mountain to be made over from it’s original concept.

If you didn’t know, the ride’s theme is based off of the 1946 film Song of The South, which Disney has banned for being racist and offensive.

The log ride features characters from the film along with the chorus of the very popular and catchy song, “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah”.

Fans are now petitioning for the ride to be refurbished into a Princess and the Frog theme, based off of the 2009 film, and the first black Disney princess.

One fan even went as far as showing designs and ideas for how to do it. Check it out below!
