Escape to the Chateau star Dick Strawbridge took to social media and announced that he and his wife Angel Adoree have released their latest book, Living the Chateau Dream. The Channel 4 favourite was inundated with comments from fans about the couple’s latest move.

The 61-year-old and his other half have continued to entertain viewers with the renovation of their 19th-century Chateau in France.

Taking to Twitter, Dick announced the exciting news as he shared details of their new book.

In view of his 81,000 followers, he penned: “It’s with great excitement we can announce our new book! ‘Living The Chateau Dream’

“We can’t thank you enough for the support on ‘A Year at The Chateau’, this book shares the next part of our journey warts and all! First edition, signed, copies can be ordered from Waterstones.”

Fans flocked to comment on the post, as people offered their well wishes to the married couple.

One wrote: “Best show ever. I’ve gotten all my friends & family watching now. My favorite part is always when Dick winks & smiles aside at the camera, when Angel’s gotten him into some sort of a situation.

“They’re so cute together, love how they show the imperfect moments too-love it all.”

Another penned: “Congrats! I finished your first book a few weeks ago. Loved it! I listened to the audible version, it was nice to hear you both tell your fascinating story.”

“Congratulations to both of you. Can’t wait,” a third remarked.

While a fourth added: “Hi Dick. Will there be a new series of the TV series Escape to the Chateau anytime soon? My regards to the new book… Congratulations.”

Living the Chateau Dream is the follow up to the couple’s 2015 bestselling book A Year at the Chateau told the entertaining and heartwarming beginning of the family’s French adventure as they restored their dilapidated castle.

The new book is about the hard work the couple put into transforming Chateau-de-la-Motte Husson into both a thriving family home and a sustainable business.
