Deyjah Harris: Daughter of T.I. Claps Back at Hymen-Policing Dad

11/12/2019

In a recent, horrifying interview, T.I. revealed that he monitors his daughter’s hymen in order to police her body and her sexuality.

A just society would jail him for being a creep and put his assets in a trust for his children. Sadly, we’re not there yet.

For now, however, his daughter Deyjah has found a tasteful way to snub her awful dad on social media.

T.I.’s daughter, Deyjah Harris, was born on June 17, 2001. She is 18 years old.

Her age doesn’t make her creepy father’s inexcusable monitoring of her hymen any less acceptable than it was two years ago.

However, it does grant her a small measure of independence.

Deyjah has found a subtle way on social media to take some nonetheless visible jabs at her irredeemable dad.

Deyjah has now unfollowed T.I. on Instagram.

That’s a small move — sometimes, we see celebrities in committed relationships do that after a fight.

But it’s a very public, yet silent, way of signaling your unhappiness to people on social media who pay attention.

Besides, kids and parents being on the same social media can be awkard even when one of them isn’t playing Hymen Detective.

Deyjah also took to Twitter, where instead of directly responding to her father’s sickening revelation, she simply used the “like” button.

For example, she liked a tweet about T.I. that reads: “this is disgusting, possessive, and controlling.”

“That is just beyond possessive,” reads another tweet that caught Deyjah’s eye. And yes, “likes” on Twitter are public.

Deyjah even tweeted “I loveeeeeee yalllllll” with a sad emoji, indicating her predicament and how she appreciates the support.

“Deyjah’s 18, just graduated high school now and she’s attending her first year of college, figuring it out for herself,” T.I. recently revealed.

“And yes, not only have we had the conversation,” he added. “We have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen.”

it’s so often that awful people become so convinced that they’re the good guys that they just announce their vile deeds.

T.I. deserves to be yeeted into the sun, but he shared his invasive, possessive, controlling habit as if he were describing a chorse wheel.

One imagines that Deyjah was initially humiliated by her father going public with what a s–tbag he is.

While it doesn’t reflect poorly upon her, many do not want to admit that thier parent is nothing more than a sentient pile of manure.

She may have felt like her privacy was once again violated by her father.

However, it now seems clear that she appreciates the public show of support and is glad that so many people are in her corner.

We don’t know if public pressure will make T.I. become a worthwhile human being for the first time in his adult life, or if he’ll stay the course.

The thing about scumbags is that they become so convinced that they’re doing the right thing that they refuse to listen to anyone else.

T.I. may be in the celebrity bubble, which could also be a factor.

Of course, there’s always the hope that a fellow celebrity will lay him out — verbally, of course — and “explain’ the error of his ways. With words!

Finally, it’s important to acknowledge that not only is virginity a social construct, but the hymen is just not a good indicator.

There are lots of ways to “break” one’s hymen. There are also plenty of ways to have sex without doing so, and that can include vaginal penetration.

But Deyjah was her own person who should be in charge of her own sexuality even before she turned 18.

What T.I. has been doing to his daughter is obscene. Since our justice system won’t put him in prison where he belongs for this, let’s hope that he gets therapy.
